About

I’m glad you are interested to know more about me, so thanks. My name is Erin, and I’m a 28-year-old bibliophile. I’ve been obsessed with books and reading ever since I was a little girl. Right now, I have about 200 books shoved into two bookcases, a few on my desk, some under my desk, some on my wall…they are truly taking over my room. I also have books upstairs, in boxes, because there’s just nowhere else to put them. It is my dream to devote a whole room to books; a nice victorian-style desk in the corner, and shelves lining the walls, with one of those ladders on wheels. Not that I could use the ladder since I’m in a wheelchair (hello, Muscular Dystrophy!), but it would be a nice conversation piece.

I live in New Jersey, in a small town most people from New Jersey don’t even know about. I’ve lived here all my life, which is fine with me. I truly enjoy New Jersey, and can’t see myself living anywhere else – we’re close to everything, the weather is fun, and there’s enough political scandal to keep it interesting.

In 2006, I graduated from college with a B.A. in English, and graduated in 2010 with an Associate’s in Web Design and Development. I am planning to go back to school next year to get my Master’s in English, and will use that degree to teach online. I have committed myself to paying off school loans for the rest of my life, so why not get as many degrees as possible, right? I can’t help it – I’m a nerd.

Besides living in a crooked state and swimming in debt, I also enjoy playing on the computer, watching shows on Netflix/Hulu, making friends by trying to be more extroverted, writing, visiting museums, trying new restaurants, and playing board games.
